Prepare for Summer
Preparing for swimsuit season is always a concern for many patients, both men and women. Often times, these concerns are with the contour of the body. Specifically for women, filling out a swimsuit top with larger breasts can give a more feminine appearance. And also other procedures to improve unwanted bulging, including liposuction, in areas including the abdomen, the hips, and the thighs can be done for improved contour. With the recovery time and wanting to get into the pool and out in the sun, it is best to have those procedures done soon if this is a major concern.
Men
For men, some of the same issues, such as body contouring with liposuction, specifically the abdomen and the hip or love handle area. And for some men, enlarged male breasts can be reduced through gynecomastia surgery. This is done with a combination of liposuction and excision of breast tissue. And once again because of the restrictions after surgery and some bruising, if the major goal is to get out by the pool, you should have the surgeries done fairly soon. If sun exposure and swimming is not a major concern of course, any of these surgeries can be done any time for an improved look, especially in clothing, at any time of the year.
Skin Protection
Of course, with the summer comes the heat and the sun, and it is always important to keep the skin protected with a high-quality sunblock because the ultraviolet rays of the sun cause premature skin aging and wrinkling and, of course, increase the risk of skin cancer. I carry some high-quality products for skin protection from Neostrata and certainly advise good skin protection at any time.
